BBQ Sauce

  • 1 Onion finely chopped
  • 3 cloves of garlic finely chopped
  • 85g brown sugar
  • 3tbsp malt vinegar
  • 2tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1tbsp tomato purée

 

  1. Heat the oil in a pan and add the onions, cook over a medium heat for 5 minutes or until soft.
  2. .Add the remaining ingredients and mix, bring to the boil then simmer for 30 minutes or until thickened.
  3. For a smooth sauce transfer to a blender and blend until smooth.
  4. You can an some chili or Tabasco for fiery kick
